Liquid Lawn Aeration

Do I need to be home at the time of service?

Because each job takes a different amount of time to complete, it is impossible to give an accurate estimated time of arrival.  Our technicians work sometimes until dark, so you can count on your service being performed on the day it is scheduled.

If you plan to be home on the day of service you can give any special instructions to the worker at that time.  If you do not plan to be home at the time of service you can just leave a note of any special instructions underneath your front door mat or taped to your front door.

Thank you for your continued patronage.

Do I need to put my dog in the house on the day of service?

We love dogs.  If your dog will allow a stranger into their yard to do work, leave them out.  If your dog has had problems with contractors in the past, I would recommend putting your dog in the house for the day.

How much does Liquid Lawn Aeration cost?

The cost to aerate your entire lawn is $79.00.  This includes your entire lawn, front, back and sides regardless of size and includes FREE FERTILIZATION.  We understand some lawns are small and some lawns are large, but because we are already on your block aerating other lawns we are doing each lawn for just $79.00.

How often should I aerate?

There really is no such thing as aerating too much.  Although most homeowners aerate their lawns every spring and fall when they apply their spring fertilizers and seeds as well as winterizer fertilizers in the fall.

For an extra thick healthy lawn, aerate again midsummer with a nitrogen fertilizer treatment.

Should I fertilize and overseed my lawn immediately after lawn aeration?

Yes! It is by far the best time to apply fertilizers and grass seed right after lawn aeration. This process enables the fertilizers and grass seeds to penetrate into the holes accessing the roots for accelerated results. Highly recommended!

Should I mark my sprinklers?

What kind of fertilizer do you use?

We use a professional grade fertilizer for all of our customers.  This fertilizer is a granular organic treatment that is time released so it won't burn your lawn.

Our supercrop fertilizer is balanced with nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium to keep your lawn healthy and strong, plus numerous trace mineral elements that have been scientifically structured to give exactly what your lawn needs when it needs it.  Most soils have some of these elements present, but usually they become depleted over the years.  Turf is a very hungry plant during its major growing seasons.

Proper fertilizing and overseeding with balanced applications in the spring and fall, promotes thick, dense grass that can resist disease and weed invasions.

What kind of seed do you use?

Lawns are only as good as the seed from which they are planted.

Our golf course blend grass seed is a fantastic mixture of vibrant bluegrasses intended to enhance the life, health and appearance of your lawn.

Our grass seed products are virtually weed free, provide great coverage and contain hearty varieties that help produce the thickest, greenest lawns in the neighborhood.

We use an Earth Carpet brand seed that is excellent for overseeding entire lawns in Colorado and bringing back those high traffic, thin areas of your lawn to the thick, plush version of bluegrass that Coloradoans appreciate.

We have combined everything you need to take care of bare patches and thin spots:  lawn aeration, seeds, fertilizers and sand products.  You provide the water

What should I do after you have aerated my lawn?

WATER! Especially if you had us overseed or fertilize. Now that you have had your deep core aeration done the water can fill those new holes and start benefiting the roots immediately.

What should I do as a homeowner to prepare for lawn aeration?

  1. Water heavily the day before your lawn aeration is scheduled.
  2. Mark any sprinkler heads that are in the middle of your lawn.
  3. Mark any shallow cables or invisible fencing.
  4. Leave any special instructions under your front door mat.
  5. Make sure a gate is unlocked and any mean dogs are put away.
