Air Duct Cleaning

Can air duct cleaning help with my allergies/dusting etc.?

Absolutely, having clean air ducts in your home can make for a much cleaner healthier environment for you and your family.  Cleaner air in your home is much easier to breathe especially when you have some sort of condition such as asthma.

Can clean air ducts increase the efficiency of my heating system?

Yes.  Clean air ducts and a clean furnace can drastically increase the efficiency of your heating system as well as improve the overall air quality.

Do I need to be home when you clean my air ducts?

When you schedule your service, you will pick a date that works best for you.  After you are on the schedule for that date, your service technician will call you the night before that date to set up a 2 hour window of arrival so that you can be home and allow our technician to perform the service.  The average job takes 1-2 hours to complete.

Do you offer dryer vent cleaning?

Yes.  Our service technician can take a look at your dryer vent when he is there to clean the vents.  It is highly recommended to keep your main dryer vent cleaned as it is one of the leading causes of housefires.  We'll check it out for you.

Do you offer furnace cleaning?

Yes.  We offer furnace cleaning if it is necessary.  Our service technician will look at your furnace to determine if it needs to be cleaned while we are there.  Often times the furnace is so dirty that if you don't get it cleaned, it will blow all of the dirt and mites back in your system after having your vents cleaned.  A clean furnace and scroll cage can drastically increase efficiency in your heating system.

Do you offer sanitizing services?

Yes.  Our technicians can sanitize your vents and trunk lines if you wish.  Our sanitizer is an anti-microbial product applied to the inside of the duct system, designed to control potentially harmful microbial contamination.

When air duct cleaning is performed on your system, all the dirt and debris is removed by brushing and vacuuming.  However, some bacteria, molds, mildew, fungi and yeasts cannot be removed during the vacuuming process.  These are removed by applying sanitizer after air duct cleaning.  The sanitizer is applied using the fogger machine, which is the most efficient way to coat the entire duct system.

Does your company move furniture?

Yes. Our technicians will move light furniture when necessary to access vents.  If you have large/heavy furniture, this will need to be moved prior to our arrival.

How much does air duct cleaning cost?

The special we have running right now on air duct cleaning is $79 this includes brushing and vacuuming up to 10 vents.  If you have more than 10 vents than each vent is just $10 extra after that.

How often should I have my air ducts cleaned?

You should have your air ducts cleaned on an as needed basis.  If someone in your home is prone to allergies or asthma, you may want to get your ducts cleaned more frequently.  Under normal conditions, you should have your air ducts cleaned after any type of construction (especially new construction) and every 3-5 years after that.

What does the sanitizer do?

What is involved in having my furnace cleaned?

Our duct cleaning brush will loosen material that is adhering to the wall of the furnace and this material is then removed with our custom truck mount vacuums, specially designed to work with our brush.  Traditional furnace cleaning has up to this point only used suction, leaving behind 80% of the debris, allowing bacteria and dust mites and more to grow.  Remove all of the material and have clean air.

What method do you use to clean air ducts?

We brush out each individual vent with our nylon rods and brushes and then remove all of the loose debris with our truck mounted monster vacuums.  So we vacuum and brush every vent, which is the best way to do it.

What should I do as a homeowner to prepare to get my service performed?

  1. All you have to do is be home on the scheduled day at the scheduled time and make sure we have access to all of your vents.  We will take care of everything else.

What time of day will you be here to perform the service?
